We welcome new membership enquiries and will respond to you as soon as we can. Please use the membership application form (link below) to register your interest. It would be helpful (but not essential) if you could include your name in the filename when you return the form to us.
Please complete as much of the information in the form as possible so that we can process your application quickly. Applicants must be 18 years old or over. You must provide a proposer or referee.
A PROPOSER will be an existing member of SPBA who is happy to support your application to the association. If you don’t know a current member we are still happy to receive an application from you. You will need to provide a REFEREE who we can contact by phone.
Your REFEREE should be someone who can vouch for your good character and tell us about any skills you might be able to offer our association. We are a self-help club who rely on volunteers to keep our facilities in good order. Skills can be as simple as knowing which end of a paintbrush to hold through to being able to maintain and service the club outboards – and anything and everything in between.
It would be useful for you to read the brief introduction to SPBA so you can get an understanding of what we are about as an association and what we offer our members. If you are still interested the next step is to complete and return the application form.
